It's an admission that speaks volumes not only about what was the eroding goodwill with many in the gaming community with the company. Leading the charge for exclusive major sports licenses, the EA Sports brand had starting entering the realm of companies many gamers felt represented what was wrong with the business.

Enter Moore, whom has shown almost an golden touch in connecting with consumers from his time at as president of SEGA of America during the Dreamcast era to helping elevating the Xbox platform Corporate VP of the Interactive Entertainment business of Mircosoft.

In this Brand Narrative, Moore explain the challenges to overcome in the culture of EA Sports when he took over and how he's helping in the process of winning back the good graces of consumers for the brand.

EA Sports NHL Teams Talks Slapshot, NHL 11

The EA Sports NHL series has had a near lock on sports game awards for the past couple of years. Trying to keep that momentum going, the team at EA Canada are not only bringing the expected yearly NHL interation where expected, they announced this year the new NHL Slapshot title for the Wii featuring hockey great, Wayne Gretzky. The NHL teams have shared with the press some video from a recent EA Sports community event where they not only hit the ice, but share the games with the public. Also are a couple of peeks inside the games with NHL 11 Line Producer Sean Ramjagsingh and NHL Slapshot Senior Producer Joe Nickolls.

NCAA Football 11 Launch Trailers

NCAA College Football 11 dropped this week and EA Sports has released four trailers giving a peek into the game. The "!120 Ways to Win" trailer gives a look at the atmoshpere and play styles in the game. The second trailer gives insight into the new Locomotion feature and how it was put together. Trailer three explain the Real Assignment A.I. tech in the game. Finally, the last trailers looks at the varied entrances for different teams (and a motherload of Nike signs).
